This works the conditioner through every single strand and allows for complete absorption. Then we’ll rinse that out and blowstyle as usual. Adding virtually no time to your service, it adds only $15 to your haircut . . . same as our traditional treatments. |

It's a party on your head . . .
Fine Featherheads
Natural Featherheads consist of a blend of natural and colored hair feathers. Fine Featherheads™ hair feather extensions can be brushed, blow-dried, straightened and even curled (up to 450°). They will last up to four months, depending on how they are cared for. Choose your feathers; we'll insert them for you. $40/ feather cluster. $5 to remove or reposition them.
Radical Extensions
Hot colors for accents without chemical dependancy. Have 3 or 4 for a funky strand or scatter 8 to 10 throughout for a highlighted look. Available in several brights and bolds. $10/ strand includes first insertion.
Plan on visiting your hair stylist every 4 to 6 weeks for adjustments (move them up toward the scalp as hair grows) to your extensions. Your hair can remain beautiful for months.

Feathers and Extensions
care & maintenance
Proper care of your extensions is essential. By following some simple guidelines you will prolong the life of your extensions. You must not treat your extensions as you would your natural hair. Effort is required to maintain beautiful healthy hair.
Shampoo
It is best to shampoo your hair every 2 to 3 days rather than every day. Use a light leave-in conditioner to detangle between shampoo days. (Unite 7Seconds)
Only use sulphate-free shampoo such as Unite Moisturizing or Smoothing shampoo.
Before shampooing, use a wide-tooth comb to remove tangles. Gradually wet the hair with a mixture of conditioner and water before shampooing. Place the shampoo in your palm, rub hands together, then apply the shampoo carefully to your hair. In the area that you have extensions, only run the shampoo in a downward motion . . . do not rub.
Condition
Condition your hair after every shampoo. Apply the conditioner 3 inches away from the scalp. Do NOT apply conditioner directly on the area of attachment.
Do not rub your hair with a towel after shampooing; gently squeeze the towel around the hair to absorb the excess moisture.
Moisturize
You will need to add moisturizing to your routine. If you do not moisturize your hair extensions, they will become dry and brittle. Lightly spritz with a non-greasy leave-in conditioner such as Unite 7Seconds to keep your extensions soft, but don’t overdo it.
Styling
Never use a brush when your extensions are wet. Instead detangle hair with a wide-tooth comb. When brushing dry hair, use a soft bristle brush, start at the ends of your hair and gently work your way up. Always brush in a downward motion. Do not brush harshly. Brush your hair often to keep ahead of tangles. When styling use extra care with your blow dryers, flat irons and curling irons—not too hot or for too long. Whenever possible, let your hair dry naturally. This will help your extensions last longer.

DevaCurl: The system for fabulous curls
Fabulous twirly curls are just right on these humid days. Here's how:
- Shampoo with a sulphite-free product such as DevaCurl No-Poo or Unite Moisture Shampoo. Sulphites are lathering agents that tend to frizz up curls, so don't expect lather, just clean.
- Condition, condition, condition! Curls need nourishment. Otherwise, the cuticle opens to try to 'grab' moisture from the aircreating frizzies. Use a wide-tooth comb to distribute the conditioner. This is the ONLY time you will comb your curls!
- Rinse well, squeeze out excess moisture with your hands. Flip your head over and
- apply curl-encouraging gel. Yes, do this before you even get out of the shower. Try DevaCurl ArcAngel or AnGell for crisp curls or Aveda's BeCurly for a softer finish. Now flip back upright. Don't grab a towel yet!
- Blot: Use paper towels or a T-shirt to gently squeeze the hair in an upward motion. This presses the gel into the curls without drawing off all the moisture. Never use a terry-towel on curls.
- Clip:The weight of the water can make the hair flat as it dries, so use small clippies to lift the individual curls off your scalp. Once your hair is arranged the way you like it, do not touch it again until it has dried thoroughly.
- Go:Then simply remove the clips and shake it around from underneath to loosen up the curls. Throughout the day, simply blot damp hands on your hair to reactivate the geland refresh your curls.
